Instructions for Use

Surface Preparation

• Thoroughly wash your motorcycle with Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, Punk Powder, or Snow Foam, then ensure it is completely dry before starting the application.
• Depending on the paint condition, perform necessary correction to eliminate any defects (swirl marks, water spots, scratches). This product is very durable and will seal all existing imperfections.
• Remove any excess paint correction or wax/polish residue by wiping all painted surfaces with the surface preparation spray. Simply spray on a microfiber cloth and wipe.

Ceramic Coating Application

• Apply the coating in a cool, dry, clean area, indoors, with good lighting and ventilation. For non-original finishes, test a discreet small area before covering the entire surface.
• Vigorously shake the bottle for 10 seconds to activate the formula.
• Wear protective gloves during application.
• Unscrew the safety cap, then apply the coating sparingly and evenly on the provided microfiber applicator pad. (A small amount is sufficient).
• Start with the highest surfaces and apply in a crisscross pattern to thoroughly cover all areas. We recommend working in small sections the size of a bike tube or panel at a time.
• Add more coating to the pad when it is no longer being applied evenly or the pad is no longer smoothly gliding on the surface.
• Let the coating dry for 5 minutes. The treated surface will then have an iridescent appearance. Check that all areas are covered, then use a microfiber cloth to gently polish in circular motions until a shiny and smooth finish is achieved. Check from different angles that the rainbow effect has disappeared.
• After polishing, let the coating dry for 24 hours in a cool, dry place before exposing it to water or weather. (For best results, avoid washing for at least 48 hours after application).

For increased durability, you can apply a second layer following the instructions after the first layer is completely dry.

Maintenance / Cleaning

To properly maintain your ceramic coating, we recommend only cleaning with our Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, Punk Powder, or Snow Foam. Avoid using other solvents or acidic cleaners, as they will degrade the coating more quickly. Regular maintenance helps preserve the hydrophobic properties. If the water-repellent effect diminishes, maintenance every 6 months is recommended.

How many applications with a 15 ml bottle?
On average, one bottle can treat 2 complete bikes or one motorcycle.

Why wait so long after application?
The coating needs at least 24 hours to harden away from moisture, in order to form a strong bond with the paint. It is recommended not to wash or wet before 48 hours after application for optimal results.

Can I use Ceramic Protection on my car?
Yes, it has been tested on several automotive finishes with excellent results. On average, 3 to 4 kits are needed to cover a car.

What is the shelf life of Ceramic Protection?
The ceramic protection has a shelf life of 2 years from purchase. Use it within 6 months after opening for optimal results.

Is it safe for a titanium frame / matte / glossy finish / frame protection / carbon fiber frame?
