The RFX Pro Series F8 Taper Bars handlebars are designed and tested at the highest level.

The F8 Taper Bars are made of 7075-T6 aluminum and feature an oversized tapered extension (OTE) to provide ultimate strength and shock resistance, while the Flex Technology (EFT) and Progressive Damping Control (PDC) technology allow for just the right amount of flex and reduce machine vibrations to help combat rider fatigue.

The design of the F8 Taper Bars also includes a crossbar, which gives a slightly firmer feel on the handlebar compared to the F7 design and is the preferred choice of some expert and professional riders.

The OTE is an extension of the oversized central section (28.6 mm). Increasing the oversized section to extend beyond the last bend of the handlebar adds significant strength to the weakest part of any handlebar, combined with a 5 mm wall thickness that remains constant even outside the bends, making the F8 Taper Bar one of the lightest and strongest handlebars on the market.

The EFT is designed to provide a slight flex to the handlebars. Careful selection of a 5 mm inner wall thickness in the mounting and taper area of the handlebar helps reduce the effects of violent shocks while offering the rider maximum front end feel in corners. F8 handlebars have a slightly firmer feel than F7 thanks to the integrated crossbar.

The PDC is created using a thicker 5.3 mm wall thickness in the handlebar grip area, which has been calculated to balance and dampen the effects of handlebar vibrations. It is a similar principle to the handlebar weights used in sport bikes, but specifically designed and tested to adapt to the range of vibrations produced by modern high-performance 4-stroke motocross bikes.
