The Battlax BT46 is ready to replace the iconic Battlax BT45. Since its introduction 22 years ago, the Battlax BT45 has become the reference tire for touring. Bridgestone has now enhanced this design with modern technology. The Battlax BT46 features a reverse V-shape in the front pattern - it combats tire working forces, reduces irregular wear, and gives the rider incredible feedback for superior handling. The rear tire is enhanced with a newly tailored single compound silica to maximize performance, grip, and wear. Wet performance has been improved compared to the BT45, without impacting the well-known dry surface handling performance and wear resistance of its predecessor. And the BT46 is compatible with the UM application: tubeless marked tires are approved for mounting on tube-type rims if used with a tube.

Bridgestone has specially developed this tire to cover the wide range of competing motorcycles in the touring segment. Available in 21 sizes for the front and 27 sizes for the rear. Ten main sizes will be launched in January 2020, with the full range rollout to follow shortly after.
