The Battlax BT46 is designed to replace the iconic Battlax BT45. Since its introduction 22 years ago, the Battlax BT45 has become the reference tire for motorcycle travel. Bridgestone has now enhanced this design with modern technology. The Battlax BT46 features a reverse V-shape in the front pattern - it combats tire workload forces, reduces irregular wear, and gives the rider incredible feedback for superior handling. The rear tire is enhanced with a newly adapted monobloc silica compound to maximize performance, grip, and wear. Wet performance has been improved compared to the BT45, without impacting the well-known dry handling performance of its predecessor and wear resistance. And the BT46 is UM application compatible: tubeless marked tires are approved for mounting on tube-type rims if used with a tube.

Bridgestone has specially developed this tire to cover the wide range of competing motorcycles in the touring segment. Available in 21 sizes for the front and 27 sizes for the rear. Ten main sizes will be launched in January 2020, with a full range rollout to follow shortly after.
