The TOURANCE is a dual-function tire, developed and adapted for modern enduro motorcycles, while being oriented towards road use.

Durability

Deep grooves combined with a balanced compound of silica and carbon black ensure remarkable longevity and excellent grip, both on dry and wet surfaces. Thanks to an extremely efficient mixing technology, Metzeler combines silica, carbon black, and the latest generations of resins and reinforcing agents to create an optimal compound.

Stability in All Conditions

The TOURANCE features a 0° belt structure for radial rear dimensions, combined with a lightweight carcass that promotes stability and road holding, even at high speeds. This allows for uniform distribution of forces on the road while optimizing the contact area in all situations. Steel cables are wound with different spacings (patented MAW technology), wider in the crown area for great elasticity and self-damping, and tighter in the lean area for better rigidity in corners. Thanks to the patented MBS technology, all radial front tires feature a diagonal belt, improving cornering grip and stability at high speeds.

The TOURANCE fits perfectly with all generations of street enduro and dual-function motorcycles, while displaying a strong off-road look. Traction and Grip

The tread of the TOURANCE was designed for frequent road use while maintaining effective off-road traction, meeting the needs of street enduro and dual-function motorcycles. Wide blocks in the central area create a compact contact surface, allowing the engine torque to be transmitted directly to the road for maximum traction while ensuring a smooth and light rolling noise. The shape of the grooves between the tread blocks was designed with varying widths to easily drain water from the contact area, thus avoiding aquaplaning.
