No worries though, it's super easy to clean.
Simply follow the steps at to breathe new life into your dirty filter. If the filter media or rubber looks damaged, don't use it again.
CLEANING STEPS
First of all, make sure you wear protective eyewear throughout the cleaning process. Remove the dirty air filter from the UTV's air box and press lightly on the highest hours on a hard service to remove debris, taking care not to bend the cage or creases.
Blow the filter from the inside out, using the nozzle less than 1" from the support. Continue moving the nozzle, taking care not to concentrate it on a specific area. Use an OSHA-approved regulator at 30 psi maximum.
Use the nozzle to blow the outside of the filter at an angle to remove any large debris not removed in steps 1 and 2. Be careful not to blow debris into the support. Then blow it out again from the inside.

Wash the outside of the filter to remove any remaining debris. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the filter holder returns to its original white color. Allow the filter to dry before use. A small fan can be used to speed up the process. Do not use hot air.
You should discard the filter after servicing it 10 times to ensure that your engine is properly protected. Before reinstalling your air filter, carefully inspect the cage, pleats and silicone rubber for any damage. If you find any damage to the cage, pleats or rubber, DO NOT USE the filter!
