Tonnycat has been a BERINGER dealer since 2006, and offers the legendary BRO12 red short lever or long lever. Calipers, repair kits and specific brake switches are also available.
BERINGER brake calipers are machined from aerospace-grade aluminum.
Reduced hysteresis: thanks to the patented Aerotec system of chromed guides for the brake pads, and their positioning in a neutral position where there is no deformation, hysteresis is greatly reduced.
More aggressive and more rigid: only 16.5 bar are needed to achieve equivalent torque, compared with 20 bar for other calipers. A gain of 20%!
Compared with another racing caliper, the proportioning error is reduced to 17% versus 53%. To achieve the same torque again after brake release, the Beringer caliper requires only 14 bar, compared with 12 bar with another caliper.
No skewed pad wear: thanks to the Aerotec system, skewed pad wear is considerably reduced, regardless of pad wear.
