In this video tutorial, we will carry out the assembly of a ELKA stage 5 rear shock absorber on a 2019 YFZ 450-R.
As you'll see, there's a modification to the rear fairing, which we'll carry out using a simple drill.
A fine hacksaw will also do the job. Make sure the hose doesn't come into contact with the plastic. A clamp can hold it in position.
PLEASE NOTE: All ELKA shock absorbers ordered from TONNYCAT are assembled and custom-tuned for each customer, according to weight, quad model, quad equipment (rim size, front axle, track width) and type of terrain (cross-country, endurance, sport touring, etc.).
This information will be taken by our technical department after the sale by e-mail or telephone.
The entire ELKA range is available from TONNYCAT.
This assembly will take you a good hour.
No special knowledge is required.
