A steering damper will help you maintain your trajectory on straight lines over rough terrain. It will also allow you to resist steering jolts for longer. Excellent against arm muscle fatigue.

TONNYCAT ASSEMBLY ADVICE:

The installation is accessible to everyone! First, simply loosely fix the collar around the column, then moderately tighten the chassis mounting: Attention, Tonnycat advises you to strictly respect a right angle between the column and the damper body, which means it should never be mounted in a horizontal position relative to the ground for example, since the quad’s column is never perpendicular to the ground. Once the perpendicular position is found, Tonnycat advises tightening the column and chassis mountings a bit more firmly.

When the wheel is straight, the damper rod must protrude equally on each side of the damper body. The final operation is to find the stop positions when the wheels turn right and left. At this stage, Tonnycat recommends a simple adjustment of the damper body’s tightening collar. Be careful, the damper must never be at its stop when the quad’s steering is at its limit! Tonnycat advises to leave 5mm before the stop on each side of the damper body.
