The Battlax BT46 is set to replace the iconic Battlax BT45. Since its introduction 22 years ago, the Battlax BT45 has become the benchmark tire for touring. Bridgestone has now enhanced this design with modern technology. The Battlax BT46 features a reverse V-shape in the front pattern - it combats the working forces on the tire, reduces irregular wear, and provides the rider with incredible feedback for superior handling. The rear tire is reinforced with a newly tailored single compound silica to maximize performance, grip, and wear. Wet weather performance has been improved over the BT45, without compromising on the dry handling performance and wear resistance known from its predecessor. The BT46 is UM application compatible: tubeless marked tires are approved for fitting on tube-type rims if used with a tube.

Bridgestone has specially developed this tire to cover the wide range of competing motorcycles in the touring segment. Available in 21 sizes for the front and 27 sizes for the rear. Ten main sizes will be launched in January 2020, with a full range rollout to follow quickly.
