Track kit
A "motorcycle track kit" generally refers to a track system designed to replace the rear wheel of a motorcycle with a set of tracks. This transforms the motorcycle into an all-terrain vehicle capable of operating on difficult surfaces such as snow, mud, sand or other rough terrain. Here are a few points to consider about motorcycle track kits:
Function: Motorcycle track kits enable the motorcycle to run with tracks in place of the rear wheel, improving traction and stability on difficult terrain.
Installation: Installing a track kit can be complex, requiring modifications to the swingarm, transmission system and other motorcycle components. It can often require advanced mechanical skills.
Compatibility: Track kits are generally designed for specific motorcycle models. It's important to choose a kit that's compatible with your motorcycle model.
Use: Track kits are particularly suitable for off-road use, offering better traction in difficult conditions. They can be used for off-road driving, in snow, on muddy terrain, etc.
Size and weight: Track kits add weight to the motorcycle and can alter its riding characteristics. It's important to take these factors into account during installation.
Maintenance: Track kits may require specific maintenance to ensure proper operation. This may include cleaning the tracks, checking the tension, and other adjustments.
