Universal switch for RFX Race lights

The RFX Race series switches are exact OEM replacement parts. Complete with the same fittings, fastenings, connectors, and cable lengths as the original part. Available for a wide range of motorcycles.

Installation instructions:

• Start by removing the front number plate.
• Carefully cut the cable ties holding the start and stop button cables to the handles, then unscrew the clamps and let them hang.
• Locate the switch connector on the motorcycle, these are often close to the frame pivot but can sometimes be under the tank.
• Detach the connector and remove the switch noting the wiring path.
• Clean the connector using a contact cleaner such as Maxima Electrical Contact Cleaner.
• Securely attach the new switch to the handlebars in the desired position.
• Route the wires as with the old switch and clip the connector together.
• Check the free length of the wires by turning the handlebars to full extension and ensuring the wires do not tighten, adjust if necessary.
• Reattach the cable ties if possible by positioning the cables behind the handles to avoid damage from debris.
• Replace your number plate.
