The GREEN FILTER Europe air filter has one of the highest efficiencies without sacrificing filtration thresholds. In fact, GREEN uses a natural cotton filter media specially woven for this application, providing one of the best filtration/pressure drop ratios. The other factor is the quality of the materials used and over 20 years' know-how.

Why buy GREEN FILTER air filters?
First and foremost, to protect your engine:
Unlike the main competitors, who use gauze, GREEN FILTER Europe uses up to 5 layers of woven cotton, juxtaposed and sandwiched between two layers of epoxy-coated galvanized steel wire cloth. The difference between gauze and natural-fibre cotton is the stability of the weave. As a result, the filter retains its filtration capacity and permeability, ensuring consistent performance.
Another important point is that it can't release its own fibers into your engine, and you can't alter them during filter maintenance - all within reason, of course.
Quality, economy and sustainability
The recognized quality of natural woven cotton ensures a very long service life if cared for optimally, making your investment long-lasting and efficient.
GREEN FILTER Europe air filters also have a special feature linked to their manufacturing process. Unlike most of our competitors, we don't use the high-pressure injection process. You'll notice that on the periphery of GREEN filters, between the filter media and the polyurethane gasket, the cotton has virtually no resin build-up due to excessive injection pressure.
What's more, GREEN FILTER Europe has developed a very specific polyurethane resin with a thixotropic effect that prevents the resin from rising up in the filter media, so that the natural cotton, which has the particularity of absorbing liquids by capillary diffusion, doesn't become impregnated and polluted.
The development of this polyurethane resin prevents peripheral clogging of the filter's useful surface, and ensures maximum exchange of air in contact with the filter media.
GREEN air filters are cleanable, so there's no need to change them every time you drain the system.
Maintenance frequency :
As a general rule, we recommend that you check and service your GREEN FILTER Europe high-performance air filter regularly. However, this frequency may vary according to environment and season of use. For use on an off-road vehicle such as a quad or SSV, we recommend that you service it every time you go out.
Its green color will enable you to notice its clogging level very quickly.
Maintenance procedure :
To ensure the quality and efficiency of GREEN filters, we recommend the use of GREEN maintenance products.
The GREEN maintenance kit consists of a detergent cleaner and a lubricant spray.
GREEN maintenance products can be sold separately and in larger quantities:
METHOD AND PROCEDURE :
Next, dilute the detergent with moderately hot water (approx. 45°C) in a 1:5 ratio (1 part detergent to 5 parts water).
Use to soak the filter in water, then use a soft paintbrush to lightly rub the contaminated side of the filter into the folds opposite the engine, in the direction of airflow.
Leave the detergent to act for around 5 minutes to degrease the filter media.
Then rinse with clean, hot water at around 45°C in the opposite direction to the airflow, to remove all particles.
Then shake your filter to remove as much water as possible.
WARNING: we do not recommend the use of high-pressure air jets such as blowguns, as the high-powered jet could widen the weave of the filter media and render your filter inoperative in its primary filtration function.
The best solution is to dry the filter naturally, or possibly near a heat source.
WARNING: do not place your filter on a radiator or other equipment, as this could be very dangerous for you or others.
Once your filter is dry, take our GREEN Filter Europe oil sprayer and apply an even layer of oil. The cotton will absorb the oil by capillary action and the swelling of the fibers will be optimal.
Be careful not to apply too much oil, as any surplus will be absorbed by your engine, and this may also affect its performance.
After washing, the cotton will whiten slightly and our oil will be green, giving you a visual indication of the quantity applied.
After following this procedure, your GREEN air filter will be ready to give you the best performance until your next service.
ATTENTION: please bring your own personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves and goggles.
GREEN RANGE 100% QUAD & SSV :
GREEN has developed a whole range of products for quads and SSVs!
Each GREEN filter model is specially designed for a particular vehicle. There are no universal models at Green!
From the classic air filter, to be fitted in the airbox of your quad or SSV, to the airbox cover and over-filter.
The classic GREEN air filter
Example of an air filter for the SUZUKI LTZ 400:
This type of filter is available for many Tonnycat quads and SSVs!
GREEN airbox cover
It's the perfect replacement for the original airbox cover, and much more effective too!
No more particles reaching your air filters!
We recommend combining this GREEN filter cover with a GREEN filter.
The example above shows the canister cover for a YAMAHA 700 RAPTOR.
This product is available for all sport quads:
The GREEN air filter booster
This can be useful for use on extremely dusty terrain.
Be careful not to apply too much lubricant to the filter, to prevent the overfilter from sticking to it.
Special kits
Green has also developed 100% dedicated kits for certain quads to optimize their performance!
This is the case for the CAN AM RENEGADE 5000 and 800:
Tonnycat offers complete packs for certain vehicles, such as the RZR1000XP / TURBO.
This pack contains the GREEN filter, GREEN maintenance products and the overfilter.
