Spokes (on spoked rims): Spokes are metal rods that connect the wheel hub to the rim. Spoked rims are often associated with off-road, classic and some street bikes.

Hub: The hub is the central part of the wheel around which the rim rotates. It is attached to the wheel axle and is often connected to the braking system.

Ball bearings: Ball bearings allow the wheel to turn by reducing friction between the hub and the axle. They are essential for smooth wheel rotation.
